Maternity session, Bantham, Devon


Bantham Beach. It's a truly magical spot, and the perfect backdrop for capturing those precious, fleeting moments of anticipation before a new life arrives. So, when I met Nicola and Will for their maternity session, I knew we were in for something special. What I didn't quite anticipate, however, was just how memorable - and a little bit wet it would turn out to be!


We started our evening with that wonderful golden hour glow, the kind that photographers dream of. Nicola looked absolutely radiant, her bump beautifully silhouetted against the vast expanse of the beach. And then there was their gorgeous pup, a furry bundle of joy, who was just loving the freedom of the beach, bouncing around and adding so much life and character to every shot.


Then the unexpected rain clouds swiftly came in just before the end of our session, we embrace the downpour and the results are all the more glorious than if we didn't get a change in weather. Thank you Nicola and Will for your wonderful spirits and willingness to carry on!
