Not all photographers are equal...

...and not all photographers will be the right fit for you, your family or your business. Whether it be the experience, budget, location or the actual person behind the camera.

So, here are a few things to consider when booking your dream photographer.

Do you Love their work?

Every photography session is unique, but if you love the photographers previous work, the locations they shoot at, their photography style and their edit - this is a big green flag and one of the most important factors to consider when booking a photographer.

Do their reviews fill you with confidence?

The outcome of the photographs is obviously hugely important, but it’s always best to check out past client experiences of the whole process to make sure you’ll be well looked after along the way. Especially if it’s your first photography session, and you aren't sure what to expect or how to prepare for the session.

Having a great experience throughout will ensure you will always look back on your beautiful photos with joy.

Is the price right?

I would never encourage anyone to spend outside of their means, but like a lots of services, you get what you pay for.

If your dream photographer seems out of reach, consider asking for vouchers for Birthdays/Christmas/Special occasions to help acquire those photos that you’ll *really* love, rather than dealing with disappointment of a photographs that you aren't happy with, just because the investment was a little less.

Make sure you read the pricing structure properly and ask any questions if you are unsure before committing to anything.

Vibes

Are you keen to capture calm, romantic or serious moments, or are you more attracted to joyous, active adventures? There is often elements of both in every session, but choosing a photographer that best compliments you and your family or business are most suited to, is really important.

Take a look at previous work, the photographers personal or BTS of post/stories/videos on social media to have a little insight into their personality, lifestyle and

session style.

Be true to yourselves, your style and character - the more comfortable everyone is, the better the photo’s will be.

If you think we’d be a good match,  I’d love to chat about your dream session.
